Medications Administered in Schoo:l

Students cannot bring prescribed or over-the-counter medications or self-administered medicines to school under any circumstances.

Parent/Guardian Responsibility:

  • Parents or guardians must personally deliver medications to the school.

  • Parents or guardians must meet with the school nurse when providing medications.

Medication Administration Form:

A completed Medication Administration Form must be provided along with the medication. This form must include:

  • Student's name

  • Medication name

  • Dosage

  • Time of administration

  • Special instructions

  • Signatures from the parent/guardian and a licensed healthcare provider

Medication Administration in School Request

Early Pickup: If you need to pick up your child early, please do so before or after lunch.

Absences: Report absences to the primary office by 9:00 a.m. on the day of the absence. If you need to collect homework, please specify this request. Homework can be picked up from the main office after 2:30 p.m. or the following day.

Dismissal:

  • Regular Days: Students are dismissed at 3:15 p.m. Please arrange for your child to be picked up, have someone else pick them up, or enroll in the Apollo Before/Aftercare program. Only authorized adults may pick up children. Apollo program details are available on the website.

  • Single-Session Days: Dismissal is at 12:50 p.m.
