I am very excited about my appointment as Interim Principal of the School #8. I strongly believe that a strong parent – school partnership is critical to children’s success in school: I look forward to working with you.
Belleville’s elementary schools’ core values reflect my beliefs in schools: I believe that all children can learn. Our job as educators is to make sure each child can achieve at his/her highest level and to provide the environment for each child to be successful. This can only happen if the school is a safe place where children can take academic risks and develop socially and emotionally. I hope to work with you and the faculty to ensure that School #8 continues its tradition of excellence and that your children will relish going to school each day and love learning.
I have been a teacher and administrator in the Belleville Middle School since 1984. I enjoyed success in both positions and always encouraged both students and parents to communicate their concerns to me. I again am encouraging all of the School #8 community to communicate with me any concerns you may have.
I think it always helps to know something about a principal beyond the professional side; I am married and have two children: my daughter Cathryn recently graduated from college and my son Robert is a junior in high school. I grew up in New Jersey and graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education; I also have a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from The College of Saint Elizabeth.
I look forward to getting to know and work with you on the success of our School #8 students. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at email@example.com or 973-532-5018 ext. 3801.
